28×11 watercolor. Paris the city of lights; the beginning of modern art where painters are gods and the cafes are social centers for movements that change our lives. This painting was a Parisian waiter on Rue Cler, a market and cafe street in the 7th district. Sept 2011. After having eaten I took his picture – it was a great morning. Wasn’t until 2014 that I painted him because I hadn’t even been to a watercolor class until 2013 where I studied at Cheekwood in Nashville for 4 months.
