14×20 watercolor and india ink. Mom named this one this but I couldn’t come up with a name for it – so he’s a lonely ole frog who doesn’t have anybody. Anyway there is a story here: talked to a truck driver waiting to get unloaded like me, was Missouri or Oklahoma, told him I liked to paint. He said he had a nephew from Mexico who got a grant studying and making art now living in Knoxville. I walked  back to my truck after our 10 minute talk and sketched this in pencil then using india ink outlined him, filling in with watercolor. By the time I was leaving, about 2 hrs later rolling out of the parking lot, I honked the horn at the previous driver and held this painting up, he smiled and gave me the thumbs up.
